does anybody know of a way to turn off the shutter sound in the camera app? is there a way to find that sound file in the software and replace with a blank sound file?

that makes sense.....still wish i had the option. i had a phone a while back, dont remember what it was, a motorola i think. anyway, there wasnt an option to turn shutter off, but someone found out which sound file it was, made a blank sound file of the samesize, renamed to match, then copied over. worked like a charm. wonder if someonr could figure it out on BB.

If you are trying these out, keep in mind to try it in both compatibility modes when you do. I have read that people have gotten non CDMA apps to work by switching the compatibility.
