Default Blackberry JDE 5.0 Beta 3 Released

RIM first released the Blackberry JDE 5.0 beta back in May. Now the 5.0 JDE has been updated to Beta version 3. What this means is that RIM is that much closer to a final release build. However, the question still remains when that will be released.

RIM has promised to release OS 5.0 by the end of this year and with devices like the Storm 2 speculated to release sometime in October it seems to be true. However, this causes frustration for developers because of the uncertainties associated with 5.0. If RIM is planning on releasing 5.0 soon then there should be efforts to start supporting it.

If you are curious as to what has changed with JDE 5.0 Beta 3 then you may want to check out the release notes.

Developers want to download the new JDE? Here you go!

Yea, maybe then all the apps would be supported by 5.0. But you have to wonder, if the Storm 2 is set to release next month with 5.0 why the apps aren't already supported.
