Storm 2 Coming to Verizon October 14th??

It seems as a Verizon employee came across some interesting information regarding the release of Storm 2. According to the picture above, October 14th will be the date it is released to the public and September 29th for B2B. If the news is true the wait for the elusive 2nd generation Storm just become more definitive.

I wouldn't be surprised if that happened to be the date the smartphone launched on. Verizon usually tests their phones thoroughly but with the recent Blackberries it seems like the O.S. updates are leaking so frequently you start to wonder if they are progressively rushing certain phones for a holiday season launch. Not to say that they havent progressed for the Storm 2 as far as hardware and software, it just seems RIM is unleashing these phones among mankind with software that almost becomes unusable to BBAddicts after the first week and having 57375893.4 leaked O.S. updates under their belts. It's not real until she is firmly in my hands. But we do have someone here who works for VZW so maybe they can confirm this information tomorrow when they get to work.

Are you going to buy it retail for 600$ or w/e it ends up being or do you all have upgrades waiting to get it for 200$ or w/e they decide the price is going to be.

Trying to decide whether to try and unlock a CDMA Storm 2 or just wait for the 9520 on AT&T... Also gotta buy an Onyx shortly this is gonna get expensive lol.

I would think the CDMA version will still be 2g where the 9520 will of course be the full 3g.Having said all that it is still a tough choice lol

OK guys, first off; sorry about the wonderful master piece i did on editing that image. I had to use print screen and paint to edit it (i didn't realize how much i enjoyed my camera until .191 and now i'm saying damnit i wish my camera worked but i'm not downgrading). Anyways, this was taking from a memo notes from a meeting about 5 days ago. The dates could change, as it was an agenda meeting.

For your friends that work with VZW tell them to search "Sholes" on VZW search or whatever it is...Sholes is the name of the Android phone coming to VZW. That same memo will have the release dates for that and for the new Chocolate phone.

Whoa, this is awesome. I'm due for an upgrade in December that'll give me enough time to hear all the review and decided to upgrade to S2. But from the video and reviews from those that have had a chance to play with S2, it seems like a good phone.

Ok I gotta tell you I have gone through everything I can find, I can find 0 on the S2. I am not sure who or what the person is in the company that posted that screenie. I cant find a damn thing though. I have called a friend that is a manager at retail, hes got nothing in inventory, nothing on release. I talked to some one that is a tech support for a store they have found nothing. So I am not saying this isnt true but if it is they are keeping it locked down to only a certain few. I have sent an email to someone else I know but he has not responded as of yet. I know I can usually get in and find at least the training docs, they are usually up about 30days prior to release, and there is nothing.

So again I am not shooting this down just know that if these are real the person leaking them is/has friends in high places. Sorry to burst your bubble JL...
