I saw this a bit ago too. It looks like some nice improvements. The one thing I really want to see is support for sending full size images rather than just a very small resized version.

Haha. I figured you'd like that. They have really listened to lots of feedback and incorporated lots of things into the new software. Time to save up eh?

I could never understand why you can have an unlimited data plan, but could only transfer a small resized copy of an image over BBM.

I wish I even had money to save. Been looking for a job for several months.

Thanks for the info and screenshot.

I completely understand. Restrictions on file sizes needs to be lifted as well. Good luck trying to find employment. I know it's rough out there.

The OS he's running is 5.0 OS it's just a older build of it (looks like .111) the BlackBerry Messenger he's running is a 4.7 build not 5.0 (the new BlackBerry Messenger AKA BBM2).

No is not 4.7.0..
4.7.0 is the version for storm and 5.0.0.100 and lowers 5.0 builds, isn't it?

This is what people can't figure out. It says 4.7 but it's actually 5.0 UI. Do you know how many people have tried to take .cod's from Onyx OS and install on other devices thinking they'd get the new BBM? ROFL. I'll leave that alone. Back to point, people can't explain why it's BBM, if it says 4.7.....

Crucial, I'm not going to ask you to go into detail about the new BBM but, can you tell us how much has it improved over the BBM that was on this Onyx in the video running OS 5.0.0.111.

Thanks!

Contrary to what you have seen posted elsewhere on the site, the new BBM is NOT on builds higher than .100. It's not on builds higher than .130. That is just plain incorrect to say it is. It is still in beta and not available to everyone who might have access to betas. Hence why it's not included in for instance, .110, .123, .130, etc.

That is the new BBM. The improvements in the video are the improvements to the client. Theres a couple more he didn't cover, but that is the new BBM.
