Yep thats right, another leak for the 9700. Wonder how many of these are going to keep popping up.

This also fixes the SMS problem and brings in a media player problem. (FYI)

yeah news is what we are looking for. i have heard mixed reports from reading threads, about the media player stopping when a message comes through, sms problem (i never experienced) is fixed.

Thanks spiderhider, I just got in and had a chance to check back. The media player stopping when an incoming event happens is exactly what I was talking about.
Now..this may not be a big deal to some, but...it's definitely something that'll keep this from being an official carrier release.

ok the so the media player stops when a call comes in, it starts back up when the call ends... i guess i am not understanding that issue...can someone explain it pls
edit: never mind... i see now.. not a call but message... sorry
edit again: ok I guess i dont understand after all cause I started my media player up and was playing music then sent me a txt and a email and i heard my notification come through but music kept playing.... so that covers incoming calls (which it does temporarily stop but resumes afterwards) incoming txt and incoming emails ... IMO its working the way it should... heck my iphone pauses a song playing to play the notification sound when a txt or email comes through which pauses a song which drives me nuts but atleast my BB keeps the music playing...
so again can someone give me clarification on this issue?? thanks
