First off welcome to BBOS. I do understand your feelings but understand that people who leak these often times have to go through great risks. Of course we all want the latest and great and you will have that. Just have some patience and good things I am sure will come our way.

Is anyone aware of whether the new OS addresses the alleged hardware resource allocation issue with the trackball?
I'm running out of time on my 30 day return grace period.
TIA

This OS does not fix that issue regarding the trackball. Neither will any OS. The issue with the trackball, against what others say or believe, is the trackball itself. I have replaced my trackball and have not experience that problem since then.

How did you replace trackball on Tour and where did you purchased it?

to the OP, have you tried bbm5 5.0 that people are using on the 5.0 hybrid? you can try the OTA install from bbhybrids.net

Leaking an OS would be up to the original source and if they say no links are to be given out, then I would hope the person that got the leak would follow those guidelines. Personally this gives me hope that the Tour os is getting better and better, I have no issues with the Stock OS like I did with the Storm.

Now that I am done I am glad you aren't level 10 pissed
lol i am i just really anxious and threaded sms would make the tour just perfect. but yeah i can wait a couple more weeks i guess

Not that I have heard

Here is what I have come across

Little more spinning clocks than with stock os

Of course some 3rd party apps don't work with the 5.0 OS (so far for me app world) every other one I use works fine

Gmail account is very slow on this OS (not sure if it is os or gmail) while all others are super quick.

That is really about it
