Is there an easy 2.0 to 2.1 upgrade without an OS wipe?

So far so good, memory increased just over 4Mb to 48.8Mb after a battery pull. That's the best I've had. Thumbnail scan is still as fast as it used to be pre- .282. Will test reboot times tomorrow but getting the same initial times after I first loaded v2.0, hopefully that will decrease to the times I reported earlier....

Looks like another great hybrid. Thanks Xonz!

Which base OS should we use for this hybrid? I used the current .297 install with v2.0 and copied over the new files. However, when I went to load v2.1 it said downgrade for BBM. Is this true?

so far so good.

saved apps.
wiped the bb.
installed .297
installed 2.0
installed 2.1 java files
loaded bb with the above mentioned software
restored apps (bbsak)

doing enterprise activation right now with work server.

if i find any problems, i'll let you know.

the only thing i didn't install was facebook 1.6

i downgrade it to 1.5 so i can sync calendar and contacts. 1.6 fb gets stopped by BES policies.

BBM services failed to synchronize when i did the blackberry enterprise server activation. and then BBM died.

so i have a OTA link for bbm (v 5.0.8) that i used to re-install it, and it seems to be good now.

.297 is the base OS. You may have to reinstall BBM 5.0.8 via OTA after install is complete. Don't let the downgrade worry you it is probably referring to 4.6 BBM.

If you resend your service books the browser should reappear.
