BlackBerry 10 Is Not Coming To PlayBook � And Here's Why

I'm a PlayBook owner. It's a tablet that I have loved, but it's been a rocky road in the journey of BlackBerry's first and only Tablet OS device. It's had bad moments like the 6 month delay of Tablet OS 2, and some great moments like the messaging app being unveiled along with the enhanced BlackBerry Bridge.

So it breaks my heart to have to write this article. I have 3 PlayBooks in my home and they have been eagerly waiting for the huge upgrade that has been promised by RIM. But as RIM died at the BlackBerry 10 launch, so did my dreams of seeing

It's that time again! BlackBerry has sent out their list of top BlackBerry 10 apps in BlackBerry World for the week, with some nice up and coming app news as well. Keep an eye out for Iberia, MyDigiPass, Hotelsnapper, and British Airways apps which will be available for the BlackBerry Z10 and Q10 in the next week!

Official: OS 7.1.0.990 For BlackBerry Curve 9320 Via AIS Thailand

Well, it's been several months since the last update, but AIS Thailand has kicked out Official OS 7.1.0.990 for the Curve 9320. If you have a Curve 9320 its time once again to get out that USB cord and give your device a fresh OS. And as always, please remember to let us know about any findings/fixes in the comments below.

Israel Finally Gets BlackBerry 10

Looks like Israelis will now finally be able to purchase the BlackBerry Z10 through a couple of the largest carriers in the country, Pelephone and Partner (Orange). Orange is offering the device for NIS 3,167 ($880) at 12/payments, while Pelephone will sell it for just a bit less at NIS 3,030 ($843).

While the iPhone 5 and S4 come in at a higher price of 3,683 ($1025), the Z10 will still struggle in a market that BlackBerry is not sought after. However, as a former BlackBerry subscriber while I was living in Israel, it's nice

CNN has just released their app for BlackBerry 10 today. We knew it was on its way thanks to BlackBerry's weekly heads up, and now it's here. One of the biggest wants (some would say needs) BlackBerry 10 users have is the ability to have an app run in the background without needing an active frame to be open (BlackBerry has dubbed them "headless," I would've preferred frameless but I digress).
