Just installed last night and I reckon the battery saving mode and the parental control aren't available.

So far it's better than .428 especially for the memory.

Cheers!

@ abenkz I have posted updated findings in our Forums
Discuss Official BlackBerry Bold 9900 OS v7.1.0.437 From China Unicom [AllLang]

Some BlackBerry users will not be bothered by this, as some should know this OS is very stable, and runs very well overall, considering that some features are missing.

hello dominic, there's many factors involved when determining battery life, so your guess is as good as mine, plus this OS7.1 for Bold 9900 has only been released & posted 4 days ago.

Thank u

I was on v7.1.0.391. when I tried to upgrade to this version, a lot of module is actually saying "downgrading" so I suspect this is not actually as new as it advertised in the version number.

@markcheng , you're supposed to look at Applications: 7.1.0.437 this number is important, not version number.
Fyi this OS was posted on May 25, 2012....thank you.

@grimreaper. So is this version 7.1.0.437 still the best one to be running on the 9900 currently in terms of battery life and memory bugs?
I'm in South Africa, currently running 7.1.0.402 from this same site, and the download did not have any network name before the version. This one starts with China_Unicom and then 7.1.0.437, will this not cause any problems or limitations for me?
