Thread: Desktop Manager update

Looks like a few of us have new core updates for the Desktop Manager today.
I just plugged in and found a new one for the DM.
Going into details it was 33.8MB and took about ten minutes to install.

So if you are interested in keeping your software up to date,
then plug in your device, fire up your Desktop Manager,
and check for updates through "help" in the upper right hand corner
if it doesn't start automatically for you.

There are now two Desktop Managers. I would assume you are not speaking of DM for Mac, are you?

I did download new update and now my IP modem option is gone.

Can you tell us what the version number of the new DM is? I chkd for an update this morning and there wasn't one. I have 5.0.1.18 (Aug 21 2009).

I got the update and installed, and the version and date stayed the same.

same version got here....

Yup. Exactly the same. Did the update on 2 computers and they are both the same as they were before the update.

The update referenced changes to the App Loader.

This is correct...The Older Application Loader in the Desktop Manager component lists was 5.0.1.21

This is the new one.

I did the update also and saw no change, what the heck?
