Thread: Mac DM dropping this week?

Reports are circulating it will officially be available from RIM this week and it seems that it may be true. Inside Blackberry has put an in depth review of the new software today where they mention that it is "just around the corner"! I'm willing to bet it will be available sometime this week.

so who's ready?

I wish theyd release what OS you need. Will this DM work on Tiger ? I have been sticking by my Powerbook G4 haha

do u know if its a different version than the leaked one? any idea on when we will see OS in .dmg format?

It's unknown what the build number will be. We'll just have to wait until RIM releases it. Probably won't see a OS in dmg format unless it is an official release. That being said, I saw somewhere were people have already figured how to install hybrids and leaks using Mac DM. I will see if I can find that link.

MAC DM supports 10.5.5 and above offfically...but i know it works on 10.4(Tiger) and above...both PPC and Intel

Really? That would be awesome. I keep a Windows box around just for the purpose of my BB.

I'm glad they want to get rid of the bugs before the release. The leaked version definitely has problems seeing the memory card for iTunes sync...
