9530 connection issues Windows 7?
Is anyone having problems with WONDOWS 7 and DM and the 9530? I have read through the connection thread and didn't really find anything to help me out here. I have been having connection issues with my BBD. I know about deleting the "INTELESYNC" so I can connect to DM, I was able to connect for the past few days and then yesterday it just stopped working. Windows keeps prompting to locate and install the device software but it has already been installed. Also earlier when I deleted "INTELESYNC" and pulled up DM no icons would appear on DM just the background of the home scree, and on the quicklaunch menu on my desktop it showed the DM PC icon but was completely red or on with a red X; it said it was disabled. My storm and Windows 7 just don't seem like they want to get along. I am also running DM 4.6 trying to upgarde but don't have a very fast connection here in this crappy country so takes hours to download even small files.

Thread moved to DM forum.
Could please state exactly what the problem is you are having? I'm confused as to what the problem is you have.

Your explanation has a lot of confusing information. Are you having trouble using any part of DM when you have your phone plugged in? Or are you having trouble with just a certain tool of DM such as syncing or back up and restore? Have you already tried doing a battery pull?

Download and install JRE from Sun Micro Systems. Seems some files may be missing from the system. I had the same issues. Doing this will also solve the issue you may have with BBSAK connection issues too . Here are the steps I took to resolve.
Uninstall BlackBerry DM and delete all RIM folders
DL and install JRE
Download and install BlackBerry usb and modemm drivers
Download and install most current BlackBerry DM
Reboot and you should be good to go.
