Okay E, you have convinced me to try it out. I'd be curious to know what sort of windows 7 support they added, seeing as how I use DM 4.6 just fine... IP Modem looks like it makes it ridiculously easy to tether. And I like the option of keeping the connection open after DM is closed.

not to mention how fast is the connection compared to a tethering software out there, installed on my laptop already, thanks God didnt bought tetherberry

Call my attention that the only carriers from north america listed are Tmobile USA, Tellus VPN, Tellus CDMA and Rogers canada

Couldnt find in the list ATT nor Verizon

Such as TetherBerry? I currently use DUN (Dial up networking) to tether my 8320.

I downloaded and installed the new DM 5.0.1. I have no extra features or options than before. Is this because I am Verizon?

so no more need for any tethering software?

kinda wanna know before trying it out

it doesnt list verizon but you can add custom profiles to tether just need the correct info to do it....

ok my second question anyone have that info ? or know how i would find it for my phone?

Well like you said previously you had a win32 error because the original BlackberryOS file was corrupt. Maybe a new install will just do the trick. I had the same problem with my original download, then I used the Megaupload link and the install file was fine. And I have the IP modem option. Let me know how it goes!

its happening to some of us bro, not sure how to fix it though, it must be verizon kicking our buts as usual
