Thread: DM disconnected status

Yesterday I did a data, as well as a third party back up of my storm 9530. I did a fresh 151 os download and installed on the pc. I did the v8.5 hybrid download and installed over the 151 os. Ok I wiped the phone just like always with JL_Cmder. Phone reboots like normal with the usual 507 screen. Now everything is ready to install v8.5 on my storm, but DM 5.0 does not find my storm.I reboot the storm....I reboot the desktop I find my pin in the DM options, drop down box. click ok and all i get is the same old nothing.

I finally give up and blow the dust off my laptop and give DM 4.7 a shot at loading v8.5. Now get this, DM 4.7 don't find my 507 screen either. Reboot both laptop and storm but still no can load. I thought maybe my usb cable is bad, but hooking my spouse's lg dare I had no problem, so I don't think it is the patch cable.

The tray icon BB device manager shows my pin as connected, but DM shows disconnected.

XP Pro

Pretty much at a loss on my next move
