Thread: DM 3rd Party App Backup-HELP!!

I have backed up my 3rd party apps using DM countless times. For the last week or so, every time I try to back up, I get the following error message.
"An error was encountered while attempting to retrieve wirelessly delivered applications from the device. If you continue with the loading process, you will need to reinstall those applications wirelessly. Do you wish to continue?"
I've never seen or heard of this before. Any help is greatly appreciated. I have already tried with a stock OS on the phone, a hybrid os ont he phone, the internet turned off as well as on and no luck. Please help if possible. Thanks.

The only tip I have gotten is to clear my browser cache. I did this with no luck. I have tried to back up on DM 4.7 and 5.0.

I would be curios as to which app may be causing the problem.
Maybe let the DM run its course with the device switch, then run the search for PIN#/.alx folder.
Once you find that folder, maybe open it to see which app didn't get copied.
Just a thought. Might help to troubleshoot your issue.

It sounds to me like DM is trying to install the .148 official VZW OS onto your device. Especially since you started having this problem around the same time this OS was released. You said you tried it with your internet connection turned off? That should have fixed the problem. Did you turn the internet connection off prior to beginning or during the installation?

If you go to on your PC;
Control panel add/remove programs highlight DM > it will ask fix uninstall or fix or something like that.

Anyway click on fix (or whatever its called)

From here turn OFF check for updates -
This should stop the upgrade prompts
You can then manually check for updates by clicking the link in the bottom left corner of DM
