i keep getting redirected to official blackberry download site which offers me os6.1 every time i click download... i dont know whats happening exactly.. or maybe its trying to tell me 6.1 is soo good i should install it instead of os7.. anywho help is appreciated.
Don't download ver 7 till rim works out the sync bug.
christ trying to update blackberry os's literally makes me want to go on a killing spree... its like trying to dissassemble and set clearances on a small block chevy with a screwdriver... its an uphill battle both ways. simply clicking the update button in desktop software doesnt work... even when you know there are updates.

i did successfully update to 7.0.0.32, os 7.1 was officially launched for bold 9900 right? when i search for updates through the manager it finds nothing is my computer on crack or does the update function in desktop manager not work?

I have personally upgraded to this OS using the exact same file, everything is well, and working very good.
Keep us posted on any changes, or if you need any other further help, we'll be here.
And make sure you delete those vendor.xml files.
