Thread: Desktop manager closes with BBSAK and OS6

Okay, if somebody knows how to solve this, please let me know.
I updated my 9700 to OS6 a while a go, but it wouldnt let me back up third party app's with BBSAK 1.8
Is this becaus the combo of 9700 on OS6 and BBSAK doesnt work?
Pain is that I need to reinstall all app's after updating (doing it as we speek to the 6.0.0.380) but now I need to get all app's back :irked:
What am I doing wrong? Because I have desktop manager running, phone is hooked and found and as soon as I open BBSAK desktop manager shuts down.

Why do you need BBSAK and Desktop manager at the same time?
Didn't your Desktop Manager back up your files automaticly?

Can you give the specifics of what wont work with bbsak? Which step are you stuck on?

Cause DM doesnt back up third party apps.. BBSAK does (love this app).. and I have 9700 with .344 OS6 and dont have that problem..

Okay what happens is:

I link my BB, start up BBSAK and entrer device password, it tells me "no device found"
Okay, then I hook it up again but start Desktopmanager first, then open BBSAK but as soon as I start BBSAK desktop manager shuts down (sometimes it gives me the option to enter password, wich you dont have to, sometime it doesnt). I tried it on all 3 options the device gives me when connecting the cable, charge only, media sync and the other one.
When running on 5.0.0*** it keeps desktop manager open and lets me back up ann 3rd party apps, with 6.0.0*** it doesnt no matter what option in linking I use or what operating os6 I install.
