In my searches today, i came across a site called BlackBerryIndia... it peaked my interest so I read a little. After 5 min I contacted a confidential source and they said to check out a file! BlackBerry Desktop Manager v6.0.1.8 beta has been leaked with no key code! For all the non-beta testers, world first as far as i know! After looking it up in beta zone, it is the current version and if your not a beta tester already, go to blackberry.com/beta and signup! Why not? It's FREE!

Some upgrades on this version:

Looks like there is a problem with this download . Can someone else check??

what happened? i installed it over my current official beta release from RIM and it installed fine. then i did an uninstall rebooted and installed again. worked for me.

did you have a previous version of v6 dm installed already?

Yes sky gear , had oroiginal dm6 installed and tried to install over the top. The file starts to extract and install, stops and says " no changes have been made" etc. Tried to delete and reinstall twice. The only thing I didn't try was to delete dm6 and try to fresh install. I'll try that tonight.
