Desktop Manager 6 Leaks!
What a good way to start the week. It appears that Desktop Manager 6, which was in a Limited Beta, has leaked out. Thats right, no Keycode needed to test out the newest version of Desktop Manager. This version should be available now thanks to @SSJason and is hosted by the folks at Driphter. The newest version allows for easier multimedia syncing as well as calendar syncing with Outlook. Make sure to grab this version while you can and tell us what else you notice thats new about DM6.[INDENT]

it seems very good.
P.D: We need a leak of BB OS6 ASAP!
so far i can not make any backups... did anyone else have the same problem ?
tested on my storm 2:hail:
It is very nice but the one thing that I'm not liking is that when on the applications screen if there is an application that is not installed on your phone you and don't want to install it you can't remove that app from the list. On the previous DM you had the option to delete it from the list. I install and uninstall a lot of apps and when the list gets full I like to delete the ones I don't have installed. But DM 6 you don't have that option unless someone knows how? Other then that this has a very smooth UI and all the features are very easy to use
Both domi and lakerstar, gotta remember - this is a leaked beta.
I'm willing to bet both of those will work in the official release. Now, domi - my backup works just fine. And, lakerstar, I haven't looked into that - so I'm not 100% sure how to resolve this.
Well I hope that gets changed in official version and I hope that the testers let RIM know about it so it does get changed. My backups are working fine also.
I downloaded it but when unzipping it gives a few errors therefore I cant install. Anybody else have this problem, let me know.
Downloaded, unzipped and installed with no errors.

Installation was ok but opening of BDM was giving error. It was windows error and program was closed. I tried several times but everytime same problem. I even tried uninstalling all OS and BDM first and then installing BDM6. No Success. Is it problem of Windows 7? Has anyone seen woking on windows7?

See above post...
Unzips fine and installs fine on Win7 64bit, used the MU link.
The megaupload link was no longer working, removed.
The rapidshare link was borked as well.
And the hotfire link.
These things are dissapearing faster than candy bars the day after Halloween.

Reason: found another dead link
Actually I could make a backup; it won't let me sync any files though...

Downloaded, installed and working fine. No problems with backup/restore, syncing with microsoft outlook. Haven't checked the media performance yet but UI is and looks great.
p.s. there was however one issue with upgrading BB 9700 with leaked 22.214.171.1242 and BB 9500 with leaked 126.96.36.1991 resulted in error message(s) and bricked BB 9700. Not sure what was problem so not blaming DM 6.
However works great so far with XP
