    Backup Error

I am backing up my BB Storm 2 using the desktop manager (USB connection) and everything was working fine until today. Now when doing the backup I am getting an error message "Error backing up database(s). [Compatibility Setting] 0 of 1 entries retrieved".

Would appreciate an explanation of what is causing problem and how to fix. Thanks.

I have had that error message before, and each time everything backed up except for my theme settings. When I have received it, I would try to backup again and still got same message. I continued with my OS upgrade, and after all was done, I just had to reset all my icon positions in my theme. Now this does not mean I know this is your situation, but I believe it is. Good Luck !!

Somehow, that database got corrupted. Create an advanced backup and backup all your databases except the one that is corrupt and you should be all set.

How do I know what database(s) is corrupt so I can skip that one?

It seems dbone15 is currently off-line. I don't know the answer to your question. As I said in my post, I have seen the same error message, and all I lost in the restore was my theme settings. If you want to test this, delete your theme, and re-run backup and see if it backs up without the error message.
I just reset my theme settings.

What is dbone15. I will try a restore since I think you are on the right track. I was recently adding\deleting themes so your suggestion makes sense.

dbone15 is the Forum Moderator that suggested the advanced backup.
