Agreed, at this point it could just be a battle of the wits, and who will ever know, either way I will probably just wait it out.

I wouldn't be surprised. I will say this much, after playing around with it for quite a while, this build seems very stable. This is a nice step forward for RIM in my opinion and my shiny MacBook Pro is quite happy.

Currently you cannot, not at the moment. What an OS is released it will come in the form as .dmg file is the windows equivalent of an exe file. You will just launch DM for Mac for recognize it and update your phone.

I love how when you are updating your blackberry, the icon on the dock has a progress bar on it.

When is someone goign to start making good apps (BBSAK, etc) for the mac now that this is out?

I agree, a Mac version of BBSAK would be awesome.

Most Mac users should have it already, but if not get Little Snitch if you're concerned about info getting sent out.

On a side note absolutely loving the build so far, great UI, small install, and fast. I've got one less reason to run Fusion now.

RIM claims that his will fix the problems when you have mobile me on your MAC. Every time I synch, i have 259 frick'n conflicts to deal with. The beta only works on my mac book pro for some reason, not my iMac. Running snow leopard, but the one computer that it does run on, it works great.
