Thread: Leaked Photos of BlackBerry Desktop Manager 6.1!

A couple photos leaked today for the upcoming Desktop Manager 6.1. Not really a surprise that we are seeing photos start to leak out as the time nears for OS 6.1 to hit the market in upcoming BB devices. From observing the photos we have gathered that a new feature for DM 6.1 will be the ability to forget a previously backed up device. If you have more information on this you can Tip Us.

Aahh, your blue fuzzy friend is getting that same feeling as when he sees a nice plate of coockies... Yes Joseph, the same feeling as those fresh baked ones you can smel all throughout the house on a sunday morning when mom or the misses is in a great mood... *snif snif snif*

I would hope that RIM releases OS 6.1 around the same time the PlayBook is released.

what features will 6.1 have that 6.0 dont presently have?

New DM 6.1 having the ability to forget a previously backed up device.

We know that the UI has gotten refresh as the new icons were leaked.

OS 6.1 will be more tied in with Near Field Communications as RIM works on apps for this feature.

Faster boot times (I hope) and more responsive.

Overall though, OS 6.1 looks much like the OS 6 interface as far as navigation goes. Could be the OS is being setup for future features.

I downloaded a leaked version last month of 6.1.020. I'm liking it.
