Now let me tell ya, this Defender case for the Storm is by far the #1 best protection for your Storm. I put my Storm in one and did a few tests. Now you guys are going to think I'm stupid for doing this but I did it so I could test it.
First Test - I stood in place and acted like I was texting, then dropped the phone. I'm 5'10 so it was a typical phone drop. The fall did not even phase it. It hit the ground, bounced around and that was that. No marks, no indication of damage.
Second Test - I sat in a pick up truck, typical height off the ground and I then let the phone fall out of my lap onto the pavement. Again. Nothing. At this point I was getting aggravated, I wanted to prove this thing wrong!!
Third Test - This test was because I get aggravated with my Storm because I hate it. I sat at my desk, waited until it finally made me mad enough to where I wanted to chuck it at the wall...so I did..Could not believe it. The friggen thing still was going strong. NOW I was getting mad and thought of a great test to bust this theory of it being the indestructible.
Fourth Test (final test) - Opened the office window which is on the 2nd floor and oops, let it dropped. Walked downstairs, got some weird looks from people as to why I dropped my phone out the window but finally. I beat it!! Thankfully I had a dead storm in there for this test but the Storm was not damaged at all on the outside, the Otterbox lived up to its word but the blunt force of the impact killed the ol .75. Darn.

ANYWAYS, this case is the GOT TO HAVE case for protection on your phone. It's like injecting the phone with steroids, its one tough SOB. So since we are having a make over and need to clean off our shelves, I mine as well give an Otterbox Defender Series away to someone.

I have this case and it is TOUGH. I'm constantly crawling through machines at work and I can vouch for this case. Even had people comment saying, "Hey, that's an Otter Box right". I flip that Storm out and It's like a tank.
Great customer service department at Otter Box too. They strive for customer satisfaction.

I totally need to get one of these, dropped my Storm for the 2nd time today... luckily it hit my foot and then the ground... Used to be so good at babying my phones.

I could definitely use a case that would allow me to throw my Storm against a wall every once and a while.

Good review! I thought about getting this case but ended up getting something else for day-to-day use.. seemed a bit large to fit in my pocket.

That said, I wouldn't mind one if I had the chance to win one..

I'm seriously thinking about having this a case. I'm currently using the 360, but this case appears to be a must have.

How thick is the phone with the case on it. It looks like it makes it pretty bulky, but I guess if it has a clip it wouldn't be bad.

I will agree that this case is by far the best protection for the storm. I own one.My only gripe with the case is that when in landscape mode,there's a few keys that don't respond on the keyboard. mostly the bottom row of keys - shift, sym,space bar, etc.and sometimes the A key when it's feeling moody. Other than that, it is an awesome protector!

i use my bb @ work doing construction and this sounds like just the protection for ruff environments

It is a bulky case, But it has to be to have the protection that it offers.

And there is a belt clip they sell for it. It's like $15 i think.

This sounds like a nice FUNCTIONAL case.....this recovering :crackhead: can use all of the protection he can get for his storm :01:
