Sounds like this would be perfect for deployments!!

I am on my 4th storm, yes that may sound like I keep on having software issues .. but nope.. I keep on dropping it at my work site and I keep on having to talk to the guys at Verizon and they laugh at me every time! This would help me so much, I would appreciate it so much :-)

Alright! - I have bit of a temper and from time to time have thrown, tossed or slammed my phones......I've broken 3 of them in the past four years. - Usually after having a heated exchange with somebody, ok one time it did accidentally fling out my hand due to my hand jestures or motions. I've managed to keep the temper in check with the storm, but this would be great insurance!

I need it, man:

Week 1 - I got my bold *soaking* wet at a music festival in Memphis (hint, don't use a $400 phone to take pictures in the rain, use the worthless 4 year old sony dsc in your pocket). covered it in dry rice for 3 days.

Week 2 - Powered up just fine, but the trackball didn't work. Called AT&T, turned out that the moisture indicators were still intact, rec'd a new phone the next day. Two days later, I drop the new phone in the mud chasing after my dog. (karma!)Disassembled my phone and cleaned it up. mud and dirt between the keys, keyboard wasn't quite right. Ordered a new keyboard from cnn.cn (hong kong), used an 8700 for two weeks.

Week 4 - got the new keyboard (red number keys!) all is well. *So Far*

I need the otterbox, man.

4th storm maybe it's time to get a case!!!! it was awesome when the whole glass shattered and you could see the big chunks of it missing. ops:i'd take it and try it out to the fullest. when i did get drunk :beerchug:i would be putting it through the ringer and it would def become a converstion piece

This seems like great, inexpensive "insurance"...how big does it actually make the phone, though? hmm, Storm + 2 year old = ruined phone...add in an Otterbox, may not be that bad...

Ya know I was just thinking about this. My birthday is next friday June 19th, would be a great bday present *wink* *wink* lol

I could really use this for the times my 4 year old daughter picks up my phone and runs around the house with it.
