  • Verizon CMO Confirms 3 BlackBerry's will Launch in 2011


    BGR was very lucky to sit down and interview Verizon Wireless’ Chief Marketing Officer Marni Walden and discuss a couple different topics. Some of these topics were about LTE, iPhone, Android and BlackBerry. Where was not many BlackBerry questions asked, but the following information gain should excite many Verizon customers.

    I do. RIM is still very, very important in the enterprise space. It does resonate in some of the consumer space as well, particularly with BBM. We’ll have three devices this year that we will bring to market with RIM.
    This is very good news for Verizon customers. What products do you think she is hinting at? 9900? The Storm 3 or Torch Touch (whatever they may call it)? We will have to wait and see.

    By "debranding", I assume you mean "reflash" the phone? I have heard that it's possible, but I have never actually heard of anybody
