Ever since BlackBerry launched its latest mobile OS, BlackBerry 10, they've referred to it as a mobile computing platform, and not just a smartphone operating system. Until now, we've only seen it officially unveiled on three BlackBerry 10 devices, but it seems they have other plans in the works.
The guys over at BBin got a hold of a couple of video clips
which they say is what BlackBerry 10 could end up looking like on a laptop or tablet. CEO Thorsten Heins has stated the company would be looking to expand into different sectors like healthcare, for example, with its BlackBerry 10 software. That would lead us to believe something like what's shown above is definitely plausible.
While the UI shown in the video is definitely different, it doesn't vary excessively from what we're used to on our Z10, Q10, or Q5 screens. It'll be interesting to see exactly what BlackBerry has planned for this interface, and if, in fact, it ever hits the public.
