We all know that some of our friends will never jump the iToy or Android ship, but you still want to be able to talk to them in a BBM-esque fashion. Touch (formerly PingChat!), one of the several cross-platform apps that was made popular with BlackBerry legacy devices has now released a BlackBerry 10 app. This app is certainly welcomed with open arms by many, albeit with a bit of sadness that it's an Android port.
The description found on BlackBerry World:
Touch redefines how we stay in touch with close friends and family. Touch lets you: - Message your friends through Chats that feel like you are talking in person. Enjoy chatting with unlimited text, video, and voice messaging, delivery and read receipts, typing status, and top-notch speed and reliability. - Share your life with those closest to you through Experiences that make the distance fade away. Touch has been built to provide an intimate, simple, yet powerful experience to let you maintain your closest relationships. Keep in touch with your friends on all major platforms through Touch.
