RIM begins gearing up it's production for BlackBerry 10, as DigiTimes reports that Taiwan based component makers are expected to begin production of BlackBerry 10 components next month. RIM recently announced that the official launch date for BlackBerry 10 will be on Jan 30, 2013. So it's no surprise to see large scale production starting to begin.
RIM plans to release two BlackBerry 10-based models (full touch and qwerty) initially and will source handset components such as keypads and chassis from Silitech and Ichia, while subcontracting assembly to Wistron, the sources indicated.
