  • Taal - Traditional Indian Music Instrument For BlackBerry 10

Taal is an informative app about traditional Indian music instruments. It allows you to play and experience the authentic sounds of the Tabla and Harmonium. Within the app are guides and samples of the Indian music to help you get started.

This is definitely a great app. It was built in only a couple days with the help of the BlackBerry dev community using BlackBerry 10 Cascades developer tools. So the UI has that great, easy to navigate feel to it. The only negatives to this app are the keys are a bit small on the Harmonium, so they can be difficult to push. Also, there is no support to record and playback my own sounds. Otherwise, it runs great and sounds amazing!

You can only download Taal if you have a BlackBerry 10 Dev device. But hang in there if you don't, as you'll be able to pick it in BlackBerry App World come BlackBerry 10 launch next year.
