Rumor: Instagram Will Be On BlackBerry 10

I don't usually like to write about rumors that I personally haven't been able to confirm, but this one is a little special, I think. This afternoon, VentureBeat posted an article about how Instagram will not be coming to BlackBerry 10, because Facebook, who owns Instagram, won't allow it.

Needless to say, this pissed off a few people including those of us in the BlackBerry community. CrackBerry's own Kevin though, decided to ask some of his sources and according to him, BlackBerry 10 will definitely have Instagram. He stands by this so much, that if Instagram doesn't come to BlackBerry 10, he promises he'll "buy somebody a car."

Although he may work for a different site, we definitely respect his sources and really hope this pans out to be true. We do know Facebook is working extensively with RIM and the BlackBerry 10 app looks fantastic so far. Logic would then dictate they would also bring Instagram to BB10.

Again, until RIM or Instagram confirm this officially, we still have to mark down as a rumor, although I do have a pretty good feeling about it.
