Last week, Rogers customers were stunned to find out their wireless carrier would not be taking on the BlackBerry Z30 when other carriers would in October. The backlash that would ensue after the announcement was expected, but apparently it was stronger than most of us even thought. So much so, that Rogers has changed their mind and have decided to offer the BlackBerry Z30 online in the near future.
"We have a longstanding partnership with Blackberry and continue to be big supporters of the company and their products. Rogers will be making the device available online, through our national reservation system and directly to our business to business customers. We’re pleased to add the new Z30 to our roster of Blackberry smartphones, which includes the Z10, Q10 and Q5."
No details yet on pricing, or availability dates, but this is definitely an interesting turn of events for the Canadian powerhouse. Will you be picking up a Z30 online from Rogers?
