We just reported how VP of Developer Relations, Alec Saunders, reassured the developer community that RIM is still invested in their success. Just to quote a snippet of his letter to developers, Alec Saunders affirmed:
RIM has been making it very clear at each BB10 Jam event so far that these are limited supply developer prototypes; the same one's RIM is using internally to develop BB10. However, due to the now extended development cycle for BB10, it would be disastrous for RIM to lose the current support they have from developers. RIM will definitely continue supporting developers and continue to provide them the tools in order to be successful.
If you are a developer and missed the chance to attend a BB10 Jam event near you, keep it locked to
and we will be sure to let you know when new opportunities to receive a #DevAlpha present themselves!
