  • RIM Extended Free PlayBook Giveaway For Developers Until March 31st!

What's that I hear? Developers cheering around the world? Boy, do I have some great news for app developers. RIM has extended their free PlayBook giveaway for developers until March 31st! This allows developers to spend an extra 3 weeks or so tweaking their applications and then getting their apps into the hands of RIM.

"Developers who create a qualifying application for the BlackBerry® PlayBook™ tablet prior to its initial North American release are eligible for a free BlackBerry PlayBook tablet."
Also, if you're interested, RIM announced that "[Developers] can submit multiple BlackBerry PlayBook tablet apps into BlackBerry App World, but each BlackBerry App World vendor will only qualify for one free BlackBerry PlayBook tablet. Apps will need to meet the BlackBerry App World Vendor Guidelines."
