RIM CEO Maintains Confidence In Company

Once again RIM CEO Thorsten Heins has assured the media that he has everything under control. Ever since RIMs first quarter 2013 earnings conference call last week the media has been on a feeding frenzy regarding the current state of the BlackBerry maker RIM. Everyone seems to have an "expert" opinion regarding RIM's future.

In a radio interview with the Canadian Broadcasting Corp, RIM's CEO once again assured us that RIM will be just fine. For those that have been quick to raise the " RIM Is Dead" flag he had news for them as well telling CBC that the "company is not ignoring the world out there, nor is it in a death spiral,". Heins went on to reiterate what he told us in the conference call last week, that RIM is going through a challenging and that the company is in the midst of a transition.

Nothing new here. RIM can expect the beatings by the media to continue over the next few months, just like it has over the past year and half. The good news is that RIM's new CEO seems to be taking on the challenge of steering a large corporation back on track; quite well.
