Our friend Don (@BlkScorp33) over at OpenSourceBB.com just gave us a heads up on a new app he's been working on that has finally launched in App World, PillPad. PillPad is an incredibly useful app that allows you to keep track of any and all medications you or a loved one takes in a simple, neat and organized fashion.
This application was actually inspired by Don's son and all those who suffer with Cystic Fibrosis (CF). CF is a chronic genetic disease affecting around 70,000 people worldwide and the amount of medication CF patients have to take is overwhelming. So, to help keep track of the medications and dosages, PillPad was born.
I'm sure many of you out there will find this app to be a huge time saver and a great way to keep yourself organized when it comes to something as important as taking medication.
This app is just getting started too. Future updates to PillPad will include: a refined pharmacy section, notepad, calendar integration and landscape view. There will also be a CF themed PillPad released soon, along with a BB10 version.
