Picture Puzzler updated to v1.6.5 and on sale for $0.99

One of the coolest apps we saw at BBM Hackathon was Picture Puzzler hands down.

For those of you unfamiliar with Picture Puzzler, it allows you to send a picture to a contact over BBM as a scrambled puzzle. In order for them to be able to see the picture they must solve the picture puzzle. A simple yet creative way to your pictures among friends.

Today, Frank, the developer of Picture Puzzler, and his company Digilus let us know they have updated this awesome picture sharing game and put it on sale for only 99 cents in App World.

I personally love Picture Puzzler because it makes sharing a picture fun and it's quick too. You're in essence making the person you're sending the picture to work for it so they end up appreciating it even more when they can uncover it.

A little secret tip: Pressing the menu button while in-game reveals, in numbers the order of each part of the picture. So if you're stuck, you can cheat a bit.

Improvements in this update:

• BBM game difficulty selection
• App minimizes by default instead of closing if it is waiting to send someone a picture to avoid accidentally cancelled transfers
• Various improvements to user interface
• Several under-the-hood fixes
