ooVoo Icon Shows Up On BlackBerry 10 Screenshot

RIM has just sent out another BlackBerry 10 promotional email titled "BlackBerry 10: Personal vs Professional." The email links you to check out their BlackBerry 10 promo webpage that goes into more detail about BlackBerry Balance, RIM's professional/personal all-in-one device solution.

What's interesting is that RIM has posted a screenshot showing the ooVoo icon on BlackBerry 10. This screenshot comes as no surprise though, since Jay Samit, president of ooVoo, recently confirmed that they would be bringing the video chat service to BlackBerry 10 at CES 2013:

"Wer'e in talks to integrate with [BlackBerry Messenger] and we're working on a Windows version, ...But they're such a niche market."

iOS and Android already have the ooVoo service, so it's nice to see that BlackBerry will get it as well. Not that we will need it with BBM Video Chat with fellow BlackBerry users. But it will come in handy to use with our friends with other devices. And who knows if Skype will every come around.
