New BlackBerry Sign On Old RIM Building

As Bob Dylan sang, "Oh the signs, they are a changing.." Okay, maybe he actually sang "times" but either way, the words would be most appropriate. This morning a new sign has appeared on a former RIM branded building in the Kitchner-Waterloo region.

The wheels are fully in motion (pardon the pun), with the renaming of RIM to BlackBerry as was told to us by Thorsten Heins at the world launch of the new BlackBerry 10 smartphone. By all accounts, it's go time and BlackBerry is taking no pause in getting things changed and moving forward. Not only have they changed the brand name, they've changed the stock symbol to $BBRY which will take over on February 4th.
