New BB10 Leaks Surface Hours Before BlackBerry Jam Americas Keynote

Although a pre-conference hackathon marked "Day Zero" for conference attendees, the yearly BlackBerry developer conference doesn't officially start for a few more hours. A trusty BBOS user tipped us off that BlackBerry Italia was at it again with yet another leak of BB10 in action. In the above screen you can get a glimpse of the video chat screen, here dubed BBM Video.

Of note, this screen highlights the connections screen, showing a tethering internet option as well as an increased number of connected devices for Mobile Hotspot, showing 8 possible connected devices instead of 5.

There also seems to be a very granular level of control when it comes to account management. Displaying BBM, Gmail, Twitter, and phone calls on the screen. But what caught my attention was the notifications in the messages screen. The bell shaped icon is notifying the user that an "aggiornamento software" or software update is taking place. We have seen these notifications on the PlayBook as a glowing red corner, so this is a wlcome additon on my book, although I'm sure there will be a way to not show these notifications on the screen.
