  • More Executives To Leave BlackBerry

Coming off the news of the 250 layoffs of BlackBerry employees, the recent departure of David J. Smith, the V.P. in charge of the PlayBook resigning, the CBC is reporting that three senior executives of BlackBerry are on their way out.

The executives that are leaving are, Doug Kozak, VP of Corporate IT Operations, Carmine Arabia, Senior VP of Global Manufacturing and Supply Chain and Graeme Whitman, VP of Service Operations.

In July, BlackBerry announced that they would be laying off 250 employees and it appears that the departures are part of the "second phase of the transformation plan where (BlackBerry) will be assessing our organization from top to bottom.." according to BlackBerry spokeswoman Rebecca Freiburger.

What do you think of this news? Do you think any more executives are due to be cut or should resign? Let us know in the comments below.
