Misek Reports BlackBerry Z10 Reporting Strong Early Sales

Now that the BlackBerry Z10 is out and in the hands of UK users, now comes the speculation as to how it has done so far in the short time it's been available since the Jan 30th launch date.

According to channel checks conducted by Jefferies & Co, preorders in the United Arab Emirates and Canada have so far been "solid."

Also good news, are early reports from the UK that show Z10 sales are off to a great start. Jefferies analyst, Peter Misek, has reported that there have been lines of people outside a number of UK retail stores selling the smartphones. Also notable, sell-outs of the white Z10 have been rampent.

"We believe Carphone Warehouse is seeing widespread sell-outs, while O2, Vodafone, Orange and EE are seeing robust demand,” Misek explained. “We estimate sell-in to be at least several hundred thousand units."

If Misek's estimates are true, we could see 5 times that number in the US market once it becomes available come mid March.
