• Mike Kirkup, Senior Director of Developer Relations at RIM, steps down

We met Mike Kirkup for the first time a few weeks back at BBM Hackathon and even had the pleasure of sitting down with him and interviewing him about the event. We were very surprised to learn today that he will be stepping down from the Senior Director of Developer Relations role at RIM as he will be taking "time to step back and consider [his] next steps."

In a Q&A with CrackBerry.com, he was asked if he has lost faith in RIM, he responded:
I cannot stress this enough. I have so much admiration and respect for the people at RIM. I love BlackBerry. My smartphone, my PlayBook, they are great products and I know RIM is going to keep offering excellent products for everyone who wants to be able to live on the go.
We, at BlackBerryOS.com, wish Mike all the luck in the world on his next .

    Z10 Issue

Normally a 2 finger swipe from the bottom bezel will bring up the keyboard. If you hold your device like I do, then a 2 thumb swipe up will do the trick.
