We are less than 6 weeks away from what is likely RIM's biggest announcement since they released their first BlackBerry Curve in 2007. With such a hyped announcement of what many are calling a make or break device, RIM is certainly in need of positive responses in the mainstream tech media that has become very Apple-centric in the last half-decade. Over the last 48 hours, I've done tons of surfing through several mainstream tech blogs to see what their outlook is towards RIM eventual announcement of BlackBerry 10 on January 30th, 2013.
One of the articles that stood out the most was Why I Can’t Wait for BlackBerry 10 by Todd Haselton (Executive Director, TechnoBuffalo). Todd brought several valid points to his editoral, including the often ignored fact that BlackBerry products of recent years were in many ways not able to successfully compete with devices from the Android & iOS ecosystem. His article outlines that BlackBerry 10 is a rebirth for RIM, a chance for them to once again become a strong competitor in the mobile market.
You can see from the video below that Todd isn't the only one over at TechnoBuffalo to be excited for BlackBerry 10:
I do see this positive outlook for BlackBerry 10 in the mainstream tech media spread like wildfire over the next few weeks. This is indeed a rebirth for RIM, & they will come ready with their A-game come January 30th,2013!
