UPDATE: The LTE PlayBook is also made an appearance in the FCC reports and shows support for AT&T
We have been hearing for a while now about RIM's new HSPA+ (3G) capable PlayBook, and it looks as though some of the first steps are being processed to make this happen. The FCC has recently processed a request from RIM to get it's tablet through its vigorous approval process. The list of documents from the FCC show the PlayBook being tested at various frequencies, and SAR tests. The date of completion of these tests is in December so this could mean that an HSPA+ capable PlayBook is closer than we think.
