I've seen a lot of new BlackBerry PlayBook users ask various questions about the Android Player that is built into the PlayBook's OS. One of the most asked questions is, "once a Android ported app is opened, how do I go back a screen?" The reason the question is being asked is because the bottom tool bar that displays while a Android app is open, isn't always displaying. One must first manually swipe down from the top bezel of the screen to show the toolbar. Once the toolbar is shown, then one can select the back arrow on the bottom left of the toolbar (see image above). You can also lock the toolbar in place and keep it from disappearing by selecting the lock button on the bottom right of the toolbar.
However, another easier way that I have grown accustomed to, is simply using a swipe gesture to go back a screen. As the image above displays, to do this you must swipe from the bottom bezel diagonally from the left or the right. It may take a few times to get used to this method, but after a bit I think you will find it works rather well. And no need to keep that toolbar opened up, giving you a bit more screen real estate for your opened app.
