• Good Technology CEO Christy Wyatt leaves BlackBerry

As one door opens for Blackberry and CEO John Chen, another is closing for Good Technology CEO Christy Wyatt, who is parting ways with the company she took over in 2013.

BlackBerry completed its $425 million acquisition of Good Technology today. Christy Wyatt, Good’s chairman, president and CEO, will not be part of the transition process.

Spokespeople from both Good and BlackBerry confirmed Wyatt left the company and that her last day was Oct. 30. They provided no details as to why she departed.

“With the final approval of the acquisition, we can confirm that Christy has left BlackBerry,” a BlackBerry spokesperson said. “We wish her the best in her future endeavors.”

Wyatt had been at the helm of Good since January 2013. Prior to her position as CEO of Good Technology, Ms. Wyatt was the Global Head of Citi’s Consumer eBusiness and Mobile Technology and before that she spent 15 years at Motorola as the Senior Vice President and General Manager for Motorola Mobility's Enterprise Business Unit.
