BlackBerryOS.com - Friday Tip: Quick Access To The BlackBerry 10 Clock
  • Friday Tip: Quick Access To The BlackBerry 10 Clock

Time. It's equally infinite and finite. A force that us mortals try to tame and control while it slowly and inexorably brings us closer to our ends. The cycle of life. Tick, tock, tick.

Unfortunately, BlackBerry haven't got around to solving that riddle yet – but there is a very simple and nice shortcut for those that are obsessed with time like me.

Homescreen space is incredibly important, and I like to have my essentials one or two taps away. Having the clock app (which I do use daily) on the first page is annoying as there are plenty of other apps I need a simple gesture away as well. Any chance to remove app icons from that first page I gleefully take with me.

So, here's a ridiculously simple way to access the clock from the hub or app screens.

1 – Swipe down from the top of the BlackBerry screen

    2 – Tap on 'Alarm'

Yes, that is really it! I don't even know where the clock icon is on my BlackBerry 10 as I exclusively use this method to access it.

Just think of all of those seconds you'll save throughout your lifetime! Now go and blow raspberries at Father Time!
