Another neat new feature in BlackBerry 10 and the PlayBook is the ability to add ANY web calendar to your Calendar app that supports the CalDAV protocol. As long as you have access to it, you can have the web calendar working and syncing on your BlackBerry 10 handset without having to add additional email accounts. I'm going to show you how using a Google calendar.
Step 1 - Create a Calendar
Visit https://www.google.com/calendar and sign in. Create a new calendar. I've created one called BBOS.

Step 2 - Get The Calendar ID
Next to the calendar name, click on the drop-down box and select 'Calendar Settings'. You'll see a section called Calendar Address. Make a note of the ID.

Step 3 - Add To Your BlackBerry
On your BlackBerry 10, open Settings > Accounts. Tap 'Add Account'. Now tap 'Advanced' and select 'CalDAV'

Step 4 - Add The Calendar Details
In the add screen, type a name for your calendar. Enter your Google email address in the User and Email fields, your password and then the link to you calendar using the following address:
https://www.google.com/calendar/dav/ [ your Google Calendar ID ] /events
For example with my BBOS calendar above:
https://www.google.com/calendar/dav/johnreid.it_j3regf711rckmhv432oe7r606k@group.calen dar.google.com/events

Now Open The Calendar App
Once the calendar has been added you should be able to see your dates from the calendar appear. It may take a few moments to sync so be patient if you jumped straight to it.
Now, I can see and update events on my BlackBerry and PC and know they will be in sync.

As far as I can tell, you can do this for as many calendars as you like! And as long as the calendar has been shared with you, you can do this with your friends' calendars as well!
