BlackBerry have announced that as well as their establishment into various enterprises for email messaging and device management, 85% of enterprises also use BBM as part of it's core solutions.
Using BBM through BlackBerry Enterprise Servers allow the businesses to leverage fast real-time collaboration that can be logged and archived to ensure that they meet the regulatory compliance.
Again we see the unique feature of BlackBerry - the end-to-end solution - being touted as a solution that can be trusted completely.
The press release carries quotes from a number of businesses such as Mercedes Petronas - and reinforces what BlackBerry followers already know, that BES is the security standard that other MDM solutions try to meet.
It's good to see this kind of message being sent - especially as the earnings call will be hitting tomorrow. Hopefully we'll get a glimpse of Chen's plans for BlackBerry and judging by the recent announcements and open letters enterprise clearly is a space that BlackBerry is putting a high about of emphasis right now.
