The BlackBerry Z10 has been available in many areas of the world for a couple of weeks now, including its home country of Canada. Everyone's been eager to see exactly how well it's done in sales, so today's report from WirelessWave Group is definitely encouraging.
In a statement released today, Glentel Inc. talked about the Z10 being the "leading smartphone" sold since February 5th (the Canadian launch date of BlackBerry 10) across its 330 stores nationwide.
This fact puts the Z10 over industry leaders, like the iPhone 5 and Galaxy S3 smartphones, and makes many hopeful that this type of momentum will help the U.S. launch in the coming weeks.
Now, no specific numbers have been given in terms of actual sale volume, but with this many stores selling out and having to restock inventory over and over, it's no surprise that a major retailer is boasting about ridiculously good sale numbers without revealing them.
